Maxi Cosi Mica Slide Pro Car Seat
The Maxi-Cosi Mica Slide Pro is an i-Size car seat designed to accompany the child from birth up to about 4 years, from 40 to 105 cm and up to 18 kg. The integrated ISOFIX base with SLIDETECH®2 technology allows the seat to rotate and slide up to 27 cm outwards from the car, making it easier and more comfortable to put the child in and take them out of the vehicle.
The seat can be used rear-facing from birth up to 4 years, the recommended position for greater safety, or forward-facing from 15 months and 76 cm. The 360° rotation with the FlexiSpin system allows the seat to be oriented towards the door and facilitates daily fastening operations thanks to the Easy-in belts.
For the child's comfort, the Mica Slide Pro features 5 recline positions, 9 height adjustment positions for the headrest and belts, and an included newborn insert, usable from 40 to 60 cm. The ClimaFlow panels, breathable foam, and mesh fabrics promote air circulation, while the Eco Care covers are made with recycled materials.
What are the safety features of the Maxi-Cosi Mica Slide Pro?
Mica Slide Pro is approved according to the European R129/04 i-Size regulation and features G-CELL side impact protection and AirProtect® technology integrated into the headrest. The 5-point belts with e-Buckle use light and sound signals to help verify correct tensioning, while the colored indicators on the ISOFIX base allow checking proper installation.
How does the SLIDETECH®2 technology of the Mica Slide Pro work?
The integrated ISOFIX base allows the seat to rotate towards the door and slide up to 27 cm outwards from the car. This way, the child is brought closer to the parent, facilitating getting in, getting out, and fastening operations without having to lean excessively into the cabin.
What is the difference between Pearl Slide Pro and Mica Slide Pro?
Unlike the modular Pearl Slide Pro model, part of the Slide Pro Family, the Mica Slide Pro is equipped with an integrated ISOFIX base that does not require the purchase of a separate base. Mica Slide Pro also features a new innovation: the e-buckle.
