Cybex Platinum Cloud S Car Seat

With Cloud S, the new generation CYBEX brings a balance of comfort, protection, and freedom of movement to the infant car seat. Designed to accompany the child from birth up to about 2 years, Cloud S offers a fully reclined position outside the car and a personalized adjustment that allows adapting the seat to the child's growth, promoting an ergonomic posture from the very first days.

The real evolution is also noticeable in everyday life: when used with Base S (sold separately), Cloud S can rotate 180° with one hand and switch from an almost fully reclined position to a more upright one. A solution designed to make moments of taking the child out of the car or placing them in the seat easier, while reducing the effort for parents.

The new generation Cloud S also integrates the L.S.P. side protection system, the headrest adjustment in 14 positions, and simultaneous harness adjustment. The 360° ventilation and a 3D mesh fabric promote breathability and moisture management. The result is a car seat designed to grow with the child and accompany every trip, from the car to walks, with particular attention to comfort and protection.

How does the CYBEX Linea S modular system work?

The Cloud S car seat and Base S are part of a modular system designed to accompany the child's growth through different stages. The same Base S (sold separately) can be used with Cloud S from birth, then switch to Anoris S Airbag, with airbag technology in the direction of travel, or to Sirona S, for rear-facing travel. Thanks to the special base adapter, it is also possible to return to using Cloud S for a subsequent child, offering a flexible solution designed to last over time.

Is the CYBEX Cloud S car seat approved for airplane use?

Yes. CYBEX Cloud S is approved for use on airplanes, offering a practical solution to accompany the child even during air travel. Weighing only 3.99 kg in the Comfort version, without infant insert and optional additional components, it is designed to be easily portable and to make travel easier for the whole family.

How well does Cloud S protect against side impacts?

Cloud S is equipped with the Linear Side-impact Protection (L.S.P.) system, integrated into a 3-level safety system. According to internal tests indicated by CYBEX, the system can reduce impact forces by up to 25% compared to the same seat without L.S.P., channeling the impact energy into the high energy-absorbing shell and the headrest.
