Chicco First Seat Recline i-Size Car Seat

Chicco First Seat Recline i-Size is the new car seat for newborns designed to offer maximum safety and comfort from birth up to approximately 15 months (from 40 to 87 cm). It is approved according to the i-Size regulation and stands out for a fundamental characteristic: it can be installed in the car even without Isofix hooks, simply using the vehicle's 3-point seat belt. This makes it extremely versatile, suitable for any type of car, even those without an Isofix system.

One of the main innovations of the Chicco First Seat Recline is the Easy-Flat Recline system, which allows you to easily adjust the position of the backrest with just one hand, switching in an instant from an ergonomic seat to an almost completely reclined position. This function can always be used, both in the car and at home, in a stroller or even on a plane, offering continuous comfort for the child at any time of the day. The seat is compatible with the Full 360 i-Size base (sold separately), thanks to which it is possible to rotate it 90 degrees towards the parents. The Easy-Boarding system thus facilitates the positioning of the newborn in the car, making every journey simpler, safer and stress-free.

The comfort of the little one is ensured by an internal lining made of natural bamboo fiber, a particularly delicate, soft and breathable material, ideal for contact with the sensitive skin of newborns. Bamboo fiber helps regulate body temperature by absorbing and quickly dissipating humidity. The headrest and reducer, also covered in bamboo, are designed to accompany the growth of the child and always guarantee the correct posture.

From a safety point of view, the seat is equipped with the Energy-Absorber Reducer system, developed in collaboration with the Chicco Research Center and a team of pediatricians. This special reducer effectively protects the newborn in the first months of life, promoting a natural posture and preventing plagiocephaly, thanks to the absence of rigid shapes in the headrest that leaves the head free to move. The headrest can be adjusted at the same time as the belts, with just one hand, to best follow the growth of the child up to 87 cm.

The sun canopy is a real plus: equipped with UV50+ sun protection, water-repellent and easy to clean, it can be adjusted independently of the handle. An integrated zip allows you to extend the canopy to offer greater privacy and protection, while a mesh window ensures excellent internal ventilation and creates an opportunity for play and interaction between parent and child. The Chicco First Seat Recline i-Size is not just a car seat. It is designed to accompany the newborn at any time of the day. It can be used with compatible Chicco strollers, even without dedicated adapters, it can transform into a comfortable fixed or oscillating swing for the home, and is TUV certified for use on airplanes. The three reclining positions of the backrest can be used freely in all configurations, without any limitation.
